Lunch at MoMA

First full day in NYC and we decided to take in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
We pretty much plan on this for every visit

This time we skipped breakfast and had an early lunch

Steak Tartare' with Quail Egg

Then Pumpkin, Couscous and Chestnut Soup with ricotta salata and spiced
crème fraîche

And finally
Grilled Diver Scallops with Chianti glazed beets, toasted almonds,
and cumin-sumac butter

All accompanied with a Trappest Ale by Orval

Shirley went with :
Tarte Flambée

Mixed Green Salad with Coach Farm’s triple crème goat cheese,
toasted pumpkin seeds and apple cider vinegar

Roasted Long Island Duck Breast with peppercorn crusted apples
and toasted pistachio-truffle dipping sauce

All was wonderful, nice setting, good meal
Not over the top, not a long lingering meal, but just what we wanted
