Morels & More Update

Morels are now shipping slowly, but steadily. Ramps are still coming on strong and should be readily available for several weeks.

In spite of the un-cooperative weather so far this year, we have been able to begin shipping the first few blonde morels of the season. Poor weather has delayed the fiddlehead fern harvest a bit, but they should start coming in soon.
You can still 'pre-order' all of these springtime delicacies online right now to reserve your place in line.

PLEASE REMEMBER - they may not ship right away - we'll call or email to let you know as soon as they are ready to ship.

Morels have Finally Started !

The season has been slow in getting started, but we have finally begun shipping our first morels of the season. Ramps continue to ship steadily and should be available for another 6 - 8 weeks.

In spite of the un-cooperative weather so far this year, we anticipate that we will be able to start shipping blonde morels and fiddlehead ferns in another week or so.
You can still 'pre-order' all of these springtime delicacies online right now to reserve your place in line. Remember that they may not ship right away - we'll call or email to let you know as soon as they are ready to ship.

Still Waiting for the Morel Train

Word from Mr. Ed Baker, our President:

"Ramps are shipping steadily now, but morel season is running a little behind schedule this year.
The weather has not been very cooperative so far, but we're hopeful that we will be able to start shipping 'dark' morels in another week or so. Blonde morels and fiddlehead ferns shouldn't be too far behind.
You can still 'pre-order' all of these springtime delicacies online right now to reserve your place in line. Remember that they may not ship right away - we'll call or email to let you know as soon as they are ready to ship.

Fresh Ramps (Wild Leeks) are shipping

We've begun shipping our first ramps of the 2005 season.
All signs point to an excellent upcoming harvest of wild morels too. We're hopeful that we will start seeing 'dark' morels real soon. That means that blonde morels and fiddlehead ferns can't be far behind.

Discussion of various online purveyors of gourmet goods

"Other chefs' wholesalers selling retail online include www.chefshop.com and www.earthydelights.com, which is worth exploring for specialties like fresh fiddleheads and ramps in spring, fresh mushrooms, artisanal cheeses from producers like Cypress Grove in California and exotica like Shagbark hickory syrup."

While we are recognized for "Wild Harvest" products, check out a wide range of gourmet and specialty imported products at competitive prices.

You too can buy from the provider to many of America's Best Chefs.
